Hello everyone.

I am trying to program my new Pro-164 to scan a certain set of frequencies in Lubbock, TX.

Here is the page for the system I am trying to scan:

Lubbock Radio Paging Service Trunking System, Lubbock, Texas - Scanner Frequencies

I have programmed these frequencies into the radio using Win97. I have set all of the channels and the bank to LTR, as it shows on that page.

However, when I have the radio scan, it never picks up anything. I know these frequencies are heavily used. What could I be doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Is bank set to LTR?

Is each channel set to LTR?

Did you enter the frequencies in order as listed in channels 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,and 19 skiping the even channels?

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I actually just upgraded to a premium account and downloaded all of the info for that system, and its working like a charm now.

Thank you :)

Step through the channels in the bank making sure that the frequencies are programmed into 01, 03, 05, etc. within the bank. Observe LTR in the 4th line to be sure and LT following the memory number. And while you are stopped on one of the channels, be sure you hear that tell-tale kerchunk of the LTR system. You shouldn't have any other problems. I have a couple LTR systems programmed in my 164 and 2055 and they work flawlessly, even with conventional frequencies interspersed amongst them.

Fortunately, GA
Since you are a premium subscriber, why not import the system into Win97 and load it into the scanner? The 164, should put the LTR into the correct LCN regardless. I monitor my county school system, which is LTR, with no problems.
