I was given an older Radio Shack Pro-92 and I have purchased the Radio Shack cable and interface. I have downloaded Win92 software and subscribed to premium service here on radio reference. Here's where I need help. I gather that the free Win92 software does not support the web service download feature. SOOOO.....what are my options regarding downloading and loading files? Must I buy another software package? Dont really want to do that however. Any help and guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Hi No software exists that supports radioReference downloading and the Pro-92. You just need to type it in or you can use copy and paste from RR.com to the win92 program.

The PRO-92 is an older scanner and may or may not be able to receive what you are interested in. It depends on your location and what specifically you want to monitor.
There are several work-arounds for getting data into WIN92, but none are as simple as importing that is supported by newer programs and scanners.
Another approach is to find someone in your area that has a compatible file which you can simply load into WIN92. I have files for my area here in California. Even if someone does not have exactly what you want, it is a good starting point and you can edit it from there.
