Help with psr-300

Hi, I just got my first scanner, a psr-300 sccanner. I have been trying to program some trunking frequencies. I have been looking around and reading posts here for a few days now and haven't had much luck. Seems like I am doing everything right but must be missing something. I have managed to get non trunking frequencies from outside my city but not the ones I want. Do I have to enter the frequency numbers or the 4 digit decimal number. I am LOST.... Any help would be appreciated. Thankyou in advance.

1) program all Frequencies 2) set all freqs and bank to MO mode.

Thanks for the reply puzzleriddle. I have Changed the trunking freqs to MO but unsure on how to do so to the bank. Also I have the trunking and regular freqs. (fm) in the same bank.( Bank 0) Is this ok?
