Hello all. I’ve helped a friend who lives in Sparta program her BC80XLT for White, Putnam, and Cumberland Counties. So far all she has been able to pick up is NOAA Weather. These counties are not TACN, any thoughts as to why she’s hearing nothing but radio silence and weather out that way? Thanks in advance.

Most of White County and all of Sparta is DMR which is an add on to scanners if you want to listen to DMR systems. So the radio would have to be DMR capable. and you would have to buy the DMR add on. I'm not sure about that model.
