Help with WIN 96 software

I'm new to actually programing my own scanner, and that combined with trying to learn EDACs qualifications for what I"m trying to get and program it into the software has proven to be very difficult.

I'm trying to put Arkansas State Police Troop J frequencies into the bank 9 of my pro-96, and all i'm getting is the drone of the control channels. I programed ch.900 with nothing exept EDACS in the settings and the rest of the ten freq or so start at 901. Are they to be programed in FM mode? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

1. That's not an EDACS system. It's a P25 system. Set the "Bank Type" to MOT (in Win96 above the grid of channels)
2. Enter the red and blue frequencies (the control channels) from the RR DB page for the sites you want to monitor, setting their RxMode to "MOT". If you're entering frequencies for multiple sites, you should put a 'blank' or other FM frequency between the sites.
3. Since you're a "Premium Subscriber" and using Win96, why not just use Win96's "Radio Reference Web Import" feature?

I'll try that when I get home from work. I think I tried it the other night but like I said thought it was an edacs system. Once I import do I select MOT where you mentioned and win 96 will "fill everything" else out? I really appreciate this.

If you use Win96's Web Import feature, it will set the bank and channels to "MOT" automatically.
