Help!!!

I'm new at this so be nice please.
I just bought scanner software and premium service through radioreference. My question is
will I get a cd or download it somewhere? I did not see who I bought it through just that i bought it here.

I have a pro-197. I bought scanner software and peemium service on the radioreference site. I'm not sure who it was but they also offered a 7 day free trial. I just went on and bought it without seeing who it was and whether it was a cd or download. I know... dumd of me. I'm new to this stuff but interested. I got the scanner at radio shack and they told me to go here for help.

What and where- ie: what county are you in, what do you want to hear, and so on.

The more info you give us the more we can help. Central Indiana is a big area so we can't guess what you want to hear with all thats out there to hear.

As for your premium subscription many software packages use that to download the data fom RR. You'll have to add your user name and password to the software so it can connect to RR.

They mentioned above that it is a PRO-197 scanner. As V said, you will use your scanner programming software to dowload the info from the RR DB. You are a Premium Subscriber so you have the capability to do that (Icon on the right of your messages next to your location). You will need an interface cable to your computer from the scanner also, RS has them. Used to be a 20-047 but that has changed as I understand it.
