i have a bct8 scanner and i am trying to pickup my local police dept. grain valley mo.... i can pickup the dispatch but not the cars? any help please

do you have all three of these freqs in your radio?

151.17500 this freq repeats the Dispatch and the County Sheriff.
155.08500 this freq is the Car to Car channel ( you have to be close to hear em here)
155.97000 this freq they reply to the Dispatch on. ( you have to be close to hear em here)

yes i have all three in my scanner.... i was able to pick them up last night i think cause they where close, i didnt know my antenna that came with the radio would suck so bad lol
