Help !!!!!

I just bought a new computer out of need( the wife fried the old one!!) I reloaded winamp etc ,but when I try to load and play the scanner I want I get a timed out message, tried some other ones some work others don't . tried loading windows media player I get error network connection??? help !

Are you connecting to the internet ok and could the feed be down??

yes on both, know every time I try shoutcast it times out, having some problems with windows media,it's not 100% of the feeds. this has me stumped

after messing with winamp it was a setting on windows vista, be careful it's tricky !!
