What Ambulance company? What location or County do they work out of...
Indy MECA is transitioning to digital, so you'll need a new scanner to receive them once the change over is completed. But you can still listen to surrounding analog signals with the Pro-97. Look in the RR database under MECA for current system and put the control Channels, the ones with asterisks in your scanner and you should receive the system fine. Also make sure the ban is set for Motorola trunking. And just put the Control Channels for public safety in one bank. Also strongly recommend Don Starr Win97 program for programing your scanner. Well worth the money.

I believe you're interested in CARE EMS, correct?

Here is the system details...

Use one bank just for this system.
Program the frequencies in the CORRECT order shown.
Program in your talkgroup.
Program the bank as CLOSED.
Enjoy!!!

As for Indianapolis - enjoy it while you can.
They will switch to an all-digital system in a few weeks, so you'll need a digital scanner to listen to them.

Additionally, if you want to listen to state police, state DNR, state DHS, Monroe County SO, Johnson County law enforcement, Morgan County law enforcement, etc. you'll need a digital scanner as well.

882?

Wayne Township? No problem. Think Bridgeport and Rockville. My neck of the woods. PM me or regular e-mail to set up a meeting and I can help.
