Good morning,

I've got a quick question for those in the Hernando County area? I'm updating some of my favorite list on my scanner. When I was looking at Hernando County, I see there are a few conventional non trunked frequencies listed. Are any of them still being used or are they just backup channels?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

I believe that all the conventional frequencies have been dropped. I will plug them in and give them a listen/report back.

Thank you so much. I had a last-minute change of plans for the holiday so will be coming up over the weekend as well. Considering Hernando County signed off on a P25 radio system upgrade over the summer I’ve got to get my old-school Motorola analog trunking listening in while I can.

Yes, I heard it could take them 2 year's for the buildout. I now have all the old vhf/uhf frequencies in, and will be listening.

Baayers. I have given the old conventional frequencies a listen. The only one active seem's to be 463.0125, with Pasco medic unit's calling patient report's into Bayonnet point Medical center.
