Hi All:

Anyone have a list of the hex numbers for the Hurricane Hunter aircraft? I think I have most, but not sure if there are a few that I missed. I like to set up a filter list on ADSB exchange this time of year!

Thanks!

I'm adding these NASA birds due to the fact that NASA 927 was out here in SoCal yesterday. Sometimes they do weather stuff, sometimes it's something else...

Quick question if I may. How are you filtering? Do you use the API or some other program?
What I do, and there may be better ways to do it , is, I use the following URL on ADSB exchange:

globe.adsbexchange.com/?icaoFilter=XXXXXX,XXXXXX,XXXXXX

the 6 digit hex code goes in place of the X's. I think some one posted some links a while back that that the info for various AC, like traffic choppers, etc. Might be a good thing to put in the Wiki, local medevac choppers and whatever else would be useful info. This is the one I have for the media helos, which was posted here on RR at one time, it may not be up to date:

Totally agree with you that this is a good resource, however, keep in mind, a lot of news media and medical helos are leased from a few companies and are sometimes traded out for maintenance, overhaul, or other reasons, and the lists do change from time to time. I was trying to keep a list of med helos in NC in the wiki, but they kept changing quicker than I could keep up with them.

Now that's very cool. I had no idea you could comma delimit the codes like that. Very useful. I knew about the query part for one hex code though.

If you upload to adsbexchange you can access the API for free and do some real fun stuff with that. Like this for example.
