Hickory Police Active Again on P25

I frequently go to Hickory a few days a week and found that the Hickory P25 system is active again. I have been able to hear Hickory PD dispatch and information channels. Wonder why this goes from P25 to nothing from time to time? I know they might be using OpenSky, but don't get the occasional traffic on P25 from time to time.

They're still on Opensky with a patch to P25. The P25 patch still revives itself from time to time. This week has been the longest I've heard it up and running in months.
They're supposed to be switching to VIPER later this year.
