Does anyone know where I can get information on the codes used by the Hockessin Fire Company? They don't use regular 10-codes, so if anyone knows the codes, please help!

Thanks

Thanks for the help, but I don't think those are the right codes. On the channel, they say things like "19-41" and other things that start with 18 or 19. If anyone has any information on these codes, please help.

19 is Hockessin's station number. All of their apparatus numbers start with "19". See their website for the individual vehicles. It is: www.hockessinfirecompany.com/

All New Castle County Fire Companies use plain language for radio traffic.

Those are most likely fire officer identifiers. I'm not well versed on NCCo, so I don't know the specific officer identifiers, but I believe that's how it works.

Thanks for helping, but I sent an e-mail to the fire station and they told me that they just use plain language and that the things like "19-41" are just what time they recieved the message.

There was a thread last year in which it seemed that NCCo Fireboard was using those codes for dispatching. Has that changed? (Even though I'm about 15-20 minutes from the Delaware state line, I can barely pick up the TRS in the west end of West Chester - unless I'm outside - but it comes in slightly stronger by the university. As such, I'd have a hard time confirming a lot of this.)
