HP-1: Homepatrol1 favorites list not scanning

I have several favorites lists I scan, but for some reason there's two of them that the scanner acts like there's no freq's programmed, I get that message that says all freq's are locked out or range needs to be expanded. I've scanned these lists successfully in the past. I've re-uploaded the lists using ARC Patrol but still no luck. When you select the list through the scanner menu it shows all the programmed freq's in the list. Strange, I'm hoping someone can help me out with this.

Try turning off location control. In Sentinel, are Download and Monitor both enabled for the favorites lists? I have ARC Patrol. If you attach your favorites list, I will check it.

Like tvengr suggests, and then also check if the location position have changed from what you once set it to in Sentinel that might explain it. And also check that the service types are enabled. Can't really be anything else than those things.

EDIT: I only use ARC Patrol for favorites lists, and only use Sentinel to update full nationwide database.

You need to right click on the files and Send to Compressed (zipped) folder to be able to attach them. You can highlight several files at once and put them all in the one folder.

The file format are messed up when pasting into RR.

When I use Arc-Patrol I don't see that date and time stamp at the first lines that you have. It says I use the latest Arc-Patrol version, 3.2 build 02.
I have an empty space reserved in my files where you have a date and time so there's a difference there but might not be of significance.

I just looked at my HP1. I am not familiar with Arc-Patrol, but as long as your favorite's lists are activated to scan, you should be able to select the appropriate service types. You might try enabling the full database and then you should be able to select most of the service types. Perhaps you can work backwards from there to rule out any hardware issues.

I'm trying to approach this from a hardware point of view. It's difficult for me to decipher your files to see if you have any programming issues. You might trying sending all your lists from your HP1 into Sentinel to see if there are any obvious problems with the way things are programmed.

If it is grayed out, and you cannot change it on the scanner, there are no channels or talkgroups tagged as "Business" on the scanner itself. Take a look at your profile in Sentinel, as well as ARC Patrol. Be sure that Business is enabled in both, then try rewriting your favorites list(s) to the scanner.

It would be helpful if you attached your programming file.

Besides having the Business service type enabled, you also need to make sure that Other is enabled as well. The Citizens Band, GMRS, FRS, and Wireless Microphone frequencies in your lists use Other as a service type.

It totally works now! Thank you! So if I don't have a service type selected, it won't scan those freq's in my favorites list? Like for example I don't have "federal" or "interop" service types selected, but I have a favorites list that has a couple freq's with federal and interop as the service type, so those freq's will essentially be locked out when scanning that list?

Those particular channels should be "not scanned", but the rest of your favorities list should scan fine.
