hosting a feed on RR only.

I have a scanner laying around & want to host a feed. But i only want my feed streamed here at radioreference,com i do not want my feed on all these mobile scanner apps that are around for you're cell phones is there a way not to let these app companys use my feed without my permission?

If it's on RR, then the phone user can simply surf to m.radioreference.com and get the feed. It doesn't have anything to do with the apps.

yes i don't mind the m.radioreference.com it's the 3rd party apps i don't want using my feed & charging money to listen to it

Third party apps don't charge money to listen to the feeds, some charge one time just for the app, the others are free.

Furthermore, those that do charge for the app actually direct some of those $$ back to RR so, I guess what I'm telling you is, don't worry about it.

I don't think there's a way to do that because feeds are accessible to everyone on the net, therefore open to phone apps. I think there may be a financial interest because RR would send out a Cease and Desist to the app developers if they didn't have permission to sell apps with RR feeds. Plus, there are a few free apps with RR feeds out there anyway.
