You may have noticed that there is a lot of GREEN and YELLOW in Kentucky of late.... there are folks working to map some of the elusive trunked systems especially in the Louisville area.... that said, there are other changes that are happening as well, mostly modifications to names of the systems, etc, this is being done so they will more accurately reflect the location/flavor of the system rather than the freq where it resides... A lot of work has transpired on the Radioland LTRs in Kentucky and Indiana thanx to one Louisville area monitor.... there are others out there so I ask, if you have a spare bank in your scanner to plug your local TRS in and see what it does and pass the info along....
As always, Thanx

My thanks to unitcharlie & the "Louisville monitor" it will make my multiple trips up there more enjoyable to actually identify the systems & users.

Keep up the good work

I'm trying too, maybe more in a less-than-noticed area of Eastern KY, but I'm trying to figure radios I receive out and see who they are. Everyone helps clean this place up like a family to their house. :D

That is the power of radioreference.com..... the fact that people listen in the areas they know best and share that info..... I can say on behalf of a number of DB Admins with whom I converse there are no "less-than-noticed area(s)", just areas some of us can't visit as often as we'd like.... Some of us just pack up and go sit for a few hours in places and take notes and monitor.... sometimes those weird looking cars covered with antennae are us out for an afternoon of pleasure.... if you honk as you drive by give us a chance to pull the ear plugs and look up before you wave at us.... at any rate, thanx for the help no matter which part of the Commonwealth it comes from....

Yeah. I'll try to help where ever possible. Albeit I don't travel west in the state for much of anything, but when I do, I'll take notes when I can. I just can't wait to see if they can get scanners to decode MotoTRBO, one of the local and possibly all the PD's may be going to that system and I can't decode it :(
