• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

How does one get ID Talkgroup List

How does one get a complete unadulterated ID Talkgroup List (numeric tags) for a trunking system?
I live in Las Cruces, and would like to see the other talkgroup ids for the City of Las Cruces besides the ones for Police, Fire/EMS, as listed in the RR.com database for Las Cruces. It is sort of fun to listen to the other services once in a while.

For instance, for the City of El Paso, there is a complete (seeming complete) id list in the database.

Does one call the city radio shop and ask them? or does one get such a list by hook or by crook?

One more thing, off the subject: Can the new PSR scanners listen to i-Calls like the Unidens?

Just wondering.

Unless you work for the radio shop in las cruces, I doubt you would ever see the Master TG list.

The PSR can icall =)
