Hey guys, got a quick question for y'all. Is there any predictable time period between Uniden product releases?

For example, in general, as a photojournalist we've come to expect a new professional digital SLR from Canon every 18 months or so. We also know that most major announcements will be made at PMA in late January/early February or at PhotoPlus Expo in October.

I'm curious, are there any similar trends that have come to be expected for Uniden product releases? Average time frames or certain events where announcements are likely to be made?

None I have seen, it's not like the camera business where it's constantly changing so models can be out longer. RS had what seemed to be a schedule but thats changed . Even in the camera industry there weren't always updates when expected, and in cases such as Nikon they rushed units into production to keep up with Canon but it cost them with major failures, and even continuing production and sales while while knowing a fix existed. Fortunately Canon has for the most part avoided those issues, going as far as stopping production to fix the issue at the production lines.

BTW, aren't the 1D series great?

yeah, but not all are having it (backfocus) and some of I found was "user error". I'm not worried, I stuck with IIN :)
