I sure hope that some one can explain better then manuel,I have freq's in but can't seem to get them in do i need to use software program one in,Anybody please help thanx....

No, you don't need software (although most will say it's a whole lot easier - and I agree). Whoever wrote the Uniden manual ought to be fired...this one is better...
