Pardon if this is a duplicate.

I'd like to echo a comment by The_B_Chief. There have been occasions, I have wanted to delete a post (one or two for some reason have come across as duplicates, either through my fault or a system clitch) and though I have seen the comment to delete, there it does not allow deletion.

Is this something reserved only for admins? I would think a poster (for the same edit period time) should be allowed to remove their posts.

It's been brought up before. People will abuse the feature. It's rare you will find ANY forum allowing you do delete your own posts. Sorry, but it will not happen.

Don't worry about the duplicates. Someone will run across them eventually and they'll be deleted. If you are not the original poster please report the post by clicking the warning icon in the upper left corner.

Would that be while viewing via a mirror or looking from inside the monitor?

Yes, please use a mirror when following my directions. Otherwise look on the right.

I belong to like 14 forums and 10 of them let a user delete his/her post within an hour.
The same time as editing is allowed.. It would be nice to see atleast a 15 minute window of time for a user to delete his/her post..

I dont post that much cause my job overworks me and half the time I dont even know what day it is lol

Just my 2 cents

Are they as large as RR? And do they allow deleting if someone has posted a reply to the thread? I can recall a few allowing deletion but only if no one has replied and within a time limit.

It's Lindsay's call and considering the....userbase on here he may not give it much thought at all.
