How do I download scanner frequencies from PC Email to handheld scanner Pro 97 1,000 channel ?

1. Download a copy of WIN97 .. go to starrsoft.com
2. Purchase a cable which connects your scanner to your PC. There are 2 versions that will work; one connects to a COM port and the other connects to a USB port.
3. If someone emailed you a .p97 file, just open it up with WIN97 and you're good to go. If someone emailed you text of the freqs/etc, you'll need to cut and paste them into WIN97.

As a side note; there are lots of people and places with .p97 files already out there. If you don't want something totally custom, you should be able to find one for your area. Also, paid subscribers to RR.com can import frequencies from the vast database here.
