How to change the frequency and add the Custom Band Plan for a Motorola trunked radio system. You only need to change or add new control channel frequencies in the Uniden XT scanner. Then create a Custom band plan.

If I'm not mistaken, if the fourth number after the decimal point in all of the frequencies in a Motorola 800 MHz Type 2 trunk system is 5, the custom band plan isn't needed. In the video, the control channel that was rebanded had a 0 as the fourth number after the decimal point so the custom band plan WOULD apply. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, If the changed control channel(s) or other trunked radio system channel(s) fourth number are 0 then you would need to reband the system. In this case 867.55000 was changed in the system to 852.55000 after rebanding.
