How to scan a department

One favorite I are trying to scan with partial success
It installs as MotoTRBO when imported from RR
It has 6 sites with frequencies & 1 department with about 20 Channel Names & TGID's
I have assigned keys 1 - 7
No problem scanning the 6 sites but wont scan the department.
If I pause on department, I can select them all manually, so they are all in there.
Where am I going wrong?

It doesn’t scan talkgroups (or groupings of talkgroups such as a department). It scans sites, and the control channel indicates what talkgroups are active. This is for trunked radio systems.

Here is something to ponder. Here is how I arrange my system, department & channel levels of my 436HP and SDS 100.

Most of the time, I rename them and construct my own.

What is the favorites list quick key? What is the system quick key? Are department/site quick keys 1 thru 7 enabled? Which quick key is used for the department? The favorites list, system, departments, and sites need to be enabled for the system to scan. Only one site is required for a system to scan.
