But when I go and then click on it says failure I guess I didn’t turn them on? But how do I turn them on Sentiel software that I’m using? Can u send screenshots on how to do that please and thank you

Many of the categories you are talking about are in the Nationwide folder under your county, as well as any other county, in any state, across the U.S.

I used your county just as an example.

For Aviation frequencies, the Air Route Traffic Control sectors are in the Statewide folder for your county and any other PA county.

For local aviation, look in the County Systems folder for your county as well as those counties adjacent to your's. Don't expect to hear the control tower or approach/departure controllers unless very close to the airport or a remote facility. But aircraft approaching or departing will be receivable for quite a distance from the related airport.

You can right click on any or all of those categories to append them to either an existing Favorites list, or create a new one.

For the air route frequencies, unless you're very close to one of the remote transmitter sites, you'll probably just hear the aircraft side of the conversation. But you can hear those, at altitude, for as much as 100 miles away, if not more. From my home, in Dallas, I have, in the past, heard airliners as far away as Oklahoma City & just outside of St. Louis.

For any of these 'systems' that you add, be sure that the corresponding Service Type is also enabled.

So do I go to this program and turn on all those ON to hear CB and etc in Nationwide Systems? Then reupload that to scanner and then I can search that stuff. Sometimes I can hear both sides of aviations like hearing tower and planes from my house apartment in Palmer. Also I think the little attena I got might work too

You could turn all service types on, to make sure you don't miss anything. You can do that in the Profile Editor in Sentinel.

Start the Profile Editor by either selecting it from the drop-down Edit menu, or click it's icon on the second line of the main Sentinel Window. The Profile Editor is the small one that resembles a piece of paper with a pencil, just under the V of the View drop down menu.

Enabling those is much easier in the Profile Editor in Sentinel. In the Editor, choose the Service Types tab, then <right><click> in a blank area of that tab. You'll get a pop-up menu that allows you to all of the types on, or off, at the same time.

On the scanner itself, you could set this up by first going to the Menu

Press the Menu button
Then press E(yes) to select Set Scan Selection

At the next screen, choose Select Lists to Monitor
79469
Press E
to choose that

At the next screen, select Full Database
With that choice highlighted, pressing E will select it and turn the Off you see on this screenshot to On
79470

Now, press Menu to get back to the Scan Selection screen
At that screen, you can then go into the Set Nationwide Systems to choose the categories you want to scan,

You still would need to go through the Service types and enable the ones that apply. (I suggest activate all, because some items are not categorized the way you'd expect.)
