01) There is no talkgroup 1219 listed. Suspect it's KPD Channel 3. Any confirmation?

02) Talkgroup 1254, listed as Kokomo City Government, is in the middle of HCSD talkgroups. Is this correct?

03) There is no talkgroup 1268 listed. Could this be Russiaville PD Channel 2? Any confirmation?

04) Talkgroup 1349 is listed as Fire Mutual Aid. Is this for Kokomo Fire or Howard County fire?

05) Talkgroup 1350 is listed as Metro EMS. Is this EMS as provided by Kokomo Fire? Any clarification?

06) Talkgroup 1354 is listed as EMS Dispatch. Is this EMS as provided by Kokomo Fire? Any clarification?

07) 1359 is St Joe Channel 1. 1361 is St Joe Channel 3. Is 1360 St Joe Channel 2? Any clarification?

08) Talkgroup 1371, listed as Kokomo Fire Paging, is in the middle of Russiaville talkgroups. Is this correct?

09) 1365 is listed as Greentown EMS Channel 2. There's no Greentown EMS Channel 1???

10) There is no talkgroup 1362 in Greentown's block of talkgroups. Any ideas on why?

11) There is no talkgroup 1366 in Greentown's block of talkgroups. Any ideas on why?

12) There is no talkgroup 1372 in Russiaville's block of talkgroups. Any ideas on why?

13) There is no talkgroup 1374 in Russiaville's block of talkgroups. Any ideas on why?

14) There is no talkgroup 1380 in Howard County Fire's block of talkgroups. Should this be Taylor Fire Command?

15) There are only two talkgroups in Galveston Fire's block of talkgroups (1384-1391). Are there any other talkgroups for Galveston?

16) There is no talkgroup 1402, representing KFD Station 2. Is station 2 non-existent?

A) This is (i believe) a patch to statewide fire mutual aid

05) Talkgroup 1350 is listed as Metro EMS. Is this EMS as provided by Kokomo Fire? Any clarification?
A) Yes. However, KFD doesn't have an ambulance in service 24/7 anymore. EMS is basically covered by St Joseph and Howard medics.

06) Talkgroup 1354 is listed as EMS Dispatch. Is this EMS as provided by Kokomo Fire? Any clarification?
A) This is for EMS dispatch throughout the entire county (medics and county units)

07) 1359 is St Joe Channel 1. 1361 is St Joe Channel 3. Is 1360 St Joe Channel 2? Any clarification?

A) Yes

09) 1365 is listed as Greentown EMS Channel 2. There's no Greentown EMS Channel 1???
A) I believe this is for comms between the 2 Greentown EMS units

10) There is no talkgroup 1362 in Greentown's block of talkgroups. Any ideas on why?

11) There is no talkgroup 1366 in Greentown's block of talkgroups. Any ideas on why?

12) There is no talkgroup 1372 in Russiaville's block of talkgroups. Any ideas on why?

A) There hasn't been a Station 2 for several years. They are currently building a new station 2 downtown, i have been told it will be active later this year.

Never seen this talkgroup.

Both, I believe.

05) Talkgroup 1350 is listed as Metro EMS. Is this EMS as provided by Kokomo Fire? Any clarification?

KFD only responds with an engine company as a first responder to assist medics from Howard Regional or St. Joseph Hospital.

06) Talkgroup 1354 is listed as EMS Dispatch. Is this EMS as provided by Kokomo Fire? Any clarification?

I don't believe this talkgroup is used anymore.

Frequencies for 1 - 20

I have a Uniden 245xl. Have been monitoring things fine until the recent change on 11 and 17. I tried to change those two numbers - but am now getting that 'squawking' noise on 11.. and the annoying little 'beep, beep, beep' for other channels. If I remember right that is telling me that I do not have one of the channels with the correct frequency in it - or I have them ordered wrong. I've spent the last couple of days hunting around trying to find an update somewhere with no luck. I see 11-20. But not 1-10.

Help? Please?

After doing a quick check of my scanner, it is not even doing an ID SCAN (thru my TG Banks). Has there been any changes with the Howard County EDACS system as far as frequencies?

Yes... frequencies have changed in the past month.

I am seeing what appears to be frequency changes on their license via fcc website. I want to check these but not sure if I can without knowing the LCNs.

Have they rebanded recently or did something else with the system? The last time I was over here I was picking up things fine. Today, I have not heard any traffic.

There is a kfd station 2 it just east of us31 on center road engine 2 and rescue 2 call this home along with a kpd substation they just broke ground on a new station 4 @ alto and dixon roads on the west side

Howard County frequencies and LCN's are correct as in the database.
