I just received a HP-2 serial # 377248002833. and having had several in the past I’m familiar with the operation and previous preprogrammed databases. I found the database: “US Air Force bases”

is this one of the newest updates from the RR datebase?

I don’t recall seeing it in the past. Seems most military bases have encrypted comms theses days, these bases would most likely still be in the database.

I know the Mountain Home AFB here in SW Idaho comms are encrypted

There's several USAF trunked systems that have lots of unencrypted talkgroups. Just a few at a glance...

If you're asking if your Home Patrol has the most recent database update, the current update is dated 3/7/2021.

To see what database is in your scanner:

From the main screen on the Home Patrol, select MENU --> ADVANCED MENU --> scroll down arrow --> VERSION INFORMATION
What does it say there for the date of the database?
