HP Office Jet 3830 print quality

My HP Office Jet 3830 was printing good. The print quality is now bad. The letters have a shadow. It looks like a letter is printed twice with the second print a little offset. What can be the cause?

Your printer should have come with software to do an alignment. Try running the alignment program to see if it clears it up.
