I am a General Ham but I am not sure I deserve it since I cannot seem to comprehend the steps required to get KSICS running on my scanner for my own County. Is there a method to doing this that is readily available or someone who wants a few bucks to lead me through it over the phone?

What I've seen is a lot of new owners have joined the Facebook page for sds200/sds100 and there is a guy on the that can program them remotely or on a sd card for a donation. You can go to Radio Reference, do a membership and use their data base to program your scanner. I've programmed several of my scanners and highly recommend learning how to upload and download using Sentinel, Proscan or one of the other programs to edit the scanner.

This is the best way (read maybe easiest) to get this done. However Sentinel will get the job done, just takes a little time. I used Sentinel on my BCD 436 & 536 till it stopped working for me on my programming laptop then switched to ProScan and found that easier/better to program with.

Welcome to the RR forums. Programming is a snap via Uniden Sentinel. Easier to read guide on how to use it is here. There are plenty of FAQs if you search the Uniden Tech forum. Expect a learning curve if you have little to no experience with the current gen of Uniden scanners but lots of resources on these forums & plenty of folks to lend you a helping hand. See also resources linked below:
