Here's an odd one.
I have two IC-400PROs. I can ID, read from and write to one of them using an aftermarket Prolific cable with no issues at all.
The other unit, I get the dreaded no answer from transceiver message. I've tried changing USB ports, COM ports, cables, baud rates, all to no avail. Device Manager (Win 10) says all ok, which suggests to me that the problem is at the radio end.
I've programmed hundreds of Icom mobiles and portables for volunteer groups and never encountered this before.
All suggestions very welcome.
