ICECAST delay

I'm streaming sdrtrunk audio to Icecast and all is well except there's about a 30 second delay in receiving the audio. Any suggestions?

You'll always have a delay when using internet streaming.

It could be a couple of things
1. It could be the media player network buffer. See if your media player has an option to change the buffer size.
2. If the Icecast serve is yours, try lowering the burst-size option.
