I have the need for Low Powered Repeater about 1/10 to 1/2 watt with an audio input only and an output anywhere in the 450 to 470MHz range. It's really simple. You plug it into a special receiver audio output jack and transmit audio on UHF. Any replys appreciated. Larry

I'm sure there is something out there like that Larry, but a random idea that comes to mind would be to modify a baby monitor? Not sure if there are any in the UHF band you're wanting...but wiring an audio jack for input wouldn't be hard and power level meets your specs.

Hope this helps.

Yea I thought of the baby monitor but the 5ch SaveCeiver is only UHF. The 5ch unit is small enough to place in my mouth but special agents dont tell about their surveillance projects. Larry

A Moto portable like an MT1000 with the PA yanked or an HT1000 with PA block defeated would work. Some Uhf Jedi RF decks have a habit of doing this on their own.

I'd put a $50.00 (new) Puxing portable radio electronics up for the task before mo anytime. But that's me:>}

True, but MT1000 / P200 bodies are nice little metal squares inside the plastic housing and are very robust.

Do they need narrow band?
