Incident at Ft Lauderdale Airshow 2024.

Airshow stopped at approximately 1:30 pm EST as two Dassault Dornier jets, part of the Polaris Air Group Squadron with the Mig-29 touched wingtips and returned back to Ft Lauderdale Executive. Airshow was stopped for 90 mins on Sunday.
Emergency was declared as part of the airshow rules.
Airboss on 118.550 directed squadron back to KFXE. Crews were safe but aircrafts involved in incident will undergo inspection for damage.
I was at KFLL watching the Mig-29 "Ghost 1" takeoff with afterburners R10L at KFLL 15 mins before the incident.

The Polaris Group Squadron compose of four L-39 jets, three Alpha Jets, and one MiG-29. The Dornier jets was involved in the incident of the mixed squadron.

I wondered why there was no activity at the show site with ADS-B.
Even Fll was a slow afternoon.
Glad for no injuries.

Air show performers usually don't show up on ADSB when they are within the TFR area.

Saturday, all of the paticipants did show up on ADSB. I was watching videos of the FLL takeoff's then switch to
ADS-B exchange. Planes like the F-35 listed as unidentified, one of the A10s, one of those had call sign ABCDE.
I am stuck in Idaho so can't make airshows but I thought this was really cool. I am even thinking someone with some scanners
could broadcastify stuff like air-boss, tower, air to air channels. there were a few poor bloggers live streaming, OK I guess.
