Looking for input tones for the borrego state parks and rec. On the conventual system. Looking for toro peak, monument, laguna, and cuyamacha. I work law enforcement on the coast and do a lot of offroading in borrego, any help would be great. Thanks for the help.

I hear state parks CERCOM doing dispatch in the Borrego area and status checks with park rangers. Most of the area is isolated and the rangers have to check em for people in trouble. I have backed and helped in several cases where the rangers back up is sometimes a hour way. They do have aircraft but can only fly around the area to over see what is going on. I have pulled vehicles out of the sand, mud, rocks ect, done first aid on 2 broken legs that needed air extraction from the sheeps canyon area. It is nice to listen to and if trained right can lend vital help when seconds count. You just might be the only person around for miles in a accident, the resonpding officer might be 1/2 hr away.

I am not sure which frequencies you are listening to ... I have many programmed. The state parks freqs on 800 MHz usually show DC: 115 or DC: 125 for tones. The VHF freqs are analog tones or sometimes CSQ.

The normal input is 115. Smuggler's Cove uses 134 in, 115 out.

If someone really needs the rest they can PM me. And Kelty's stuff isn't completely correct for SoCal; I've been in the vaults and verified that.

Here are some tones for State Parks in the Monterey area

I captured these tones the last time I was in Monterey/Carmel:

810.4875 D125 input to 855.4875 D115 Monterey area
810.7125 D116 input to 855.7125 D115 “Uplands campground”
810.7375 D132 input to 855.7375 D115 “Ano Nuevo”

for 800 the standardized state park tones are:
D115
D116
D125
D131
D132

They always use D115 for an output tone. Sometimes the input tones are changed, put all 5 in your OST menu and figure it out.

I would say 98% of the time they do. If they don't they seem to favor D125. This is used for the SF North Bay and somewhere around SoCal.
