So there I was at work driving through Downtown Springfield with my scanner on. One of the frequencies I monitor is Springfield College PD (464.3250). While I was driving up Worthington St, I caught the following transmission:
"Can someone get Trixie out of the Champagne Room? She's on stage in 5 minutes"
Followed by someone else calling for a shot girl to the back bar.
Thats right, gentlemen.. 464.3250 or something close to it appears to be used by the Mardi Gras!
The range on the frequency wasnt that great. I couldnt hear it much past State and Main, but then again I havent tried to completely lock down the Frequency.
So, do you live downtown and want something new and fun to listen to? Check this one out!
