iphone problem

I have a 2g iphone that everything works just like it is supposed to except youtube.
every time I try to connect it says "cannot connect to youtube"
I don't think its the internet as my safari browser works just fine
My phone is running 3.1.3

I would try a full restore.

Can you go to youtube.com in Safari? Who is your carrier?

saturday I did a full restore and chose the option of restoring using my phone to restore from. If you use the other option to restore you will lose alot of info you may have stored on the phone. It worked. I would suggest this option if you are having trouble with your phone 1st. If that does not work and you haver to do a restore from scratch you need to save all your music and apps to your computer 1st or you will lose all them and probably have to rebuy everything. On the itunes page in the upper left hand corner hit "file" and transfer data 1st to save data. It will save your music and apps, but I don't think it will save your contacts though.
