Is it a Bug? HP-1

When I try downloading a favorite list with Groups in it. It will download all groups except the one that starts with a number. I tried several times. That group is the (171st Air Refueling Wing) In the state of Pennsylvania, Allegheny County. I don't think i'm doing anything wrong. Everything else works.just fine. I'm verry happy with the unit as a hole. Good job Uniden.

I'm having a similar problem, downloaded favorites and all work fine but Pennsylvania Turnpike Commision does not show up, But all its channels show up on Review/Edit Channels menu. I have set location control to no.

Turn off location control and see if the turnpike shows up then ooopss, you did, hmmm, you should hear them, what about more range, attenuator??

Yea range is off, Its a statewide sytem but i put in Railroad just to see if that worked and it is showing up and recieving in scan.I know I I can hear them since thier on a repeater and I heard them on other scanners. I'm not even seeing it scan on the display or when holding systems and going through them all.

Up the range to start with, you should hear them with the range up and location control off. They yak a lot from what I remember so as long as they are within range you should hear them. Heck, the channels are the same ones they used when I left the area back in 93. And they have pretty good range on a majority of the repeaters.

I have Location off for fav, so I stil upped the range to 30 still nothing. As i understand the range would not affect anything in Fav if locaction is off. The mainthing is it is not scanning the system. I have Lancaster, Railroad and Pa Turnpike and it shows nothing on Pa turpike system, Dept and Channel. I know how to look for them. Hold, avoid next ect

I dont thing its an reception thing as its not even showing up scanning it

Sounds like it isn't in the favorites list. It would show up if it were even if not being recieved. During scan it would barely show as it doesn't have a lot of frequencies to sit on. Conventional groups like that scan pretty quick and you blink you miss it.
BTW, whats your squelch at? If more than 2 bars you might be missing it

Oh, so your in that area eh? I used to go to the Buck all the time. Won a few mudbogs there too.

I'm not seeing this occur. It could just be a glitch in the DB so do a new download and redo the favorites list and see what happens. There was a new DB put up today.

It does not show in system list even when put on hold then hit next to go through the systems. But in
Menu//Manage favorites list then "Home" as I named the favorites list then Review/Edit channels all freqs show up so its loaded and its not in avoid. I figured out everything out about this scanner but this one.

Doesn't sound like it is in that list, you should see it going through the list.

Do you have the correct service types selected? That was my problem. When I selected them it showed up.

Thanks that worked It fell under law tac. I didn't think in favorites mode sevice type made a difference.
