I've tried the demo of win97 and its too annoying as it keep swanting to change settings that I don't tell it to change, I just want to plug in some frequencies. Plus its closed source and limited to one OS. I'm wondering if the protocol is published so I can just dump the date and edit what I want then upload it again.
On another similar note, has anyone taken apart the cable and stuffed it inside the scanner then mounted a USB port on the side so you only have toi use a standard USB cable?
