Not sure how the "800 system" will allow for a countywide information sharing system as there is no mention in the articles about a voice radio system but does mention the funds will be used to implement a countywide records management system.

A lot of counties are using FEMA SHSP funds to get in with the Core Talon law enforcement terminal system. Region 1 just finished that up.

yes they do have some 800 tg,s in mount pleasant . but the only 800 numbers are being used as of right now are the mmr and the msp tg,s and central tg is very hardly used at all. unless central dispatch . wants to talk to the msp cars. with out the rest of the counties hearing them. and i also know that the ictc bus use the 800 system now too. but not sure as to what tg they use . other wise the rest of the whole countie is still on the old vhf radio systems .
