The most mundane piece-o-kit for my radio scanner systems assembly turns out to be those small no-hole hooks/clips to attach coax to exterior vinyl siding. Two hardware stores and a daytrip to the nearest Lowe's turns up nothing...just nail-in hooks. Home Depot may or may not have something based online plus another daytrip across state lines to be sure. The hardware store had something "close" but they went like hot cakes people putting up holiday lights and decorations. I could look on Amazon or *bay for unknowns or maybe-s...I need the real article.

Can anyone recommend a definite item and known source for LRM-400 (ez flex from ARB) coax?

Thanks! -

OP, are you referring to these types of things?

As for LMR (-400) of any size, I usually stick to the name brand Amphenol/Times Microwave stuff - it's literally never failed me. The cheaper stuff has all not made up for the percieved cost savings, and I've either been underwhelmed or forced to replace it in an unreasonably short time frame. There are a great many places online that provide it, I use Tessco, Mouser, Digikey, (and until recently) the Antenna Farm.
Feedline and connectors are things that I don't skimp on, and I don't buy them from scamazon or ebay.

I already purchased the LRM-400 coax...WITH Amphenol fittings from Ham Radio Outlet yesterday. I picked up these vinyl siding hooks on Amazon shortly ago + another to try from *bay...have no idea if they'll have enough gap to hold the coax but they were cheap...I mean a good "value" ;)

Amazon has them for sure. I use for Xmas and other "hangings". I have all my various cables in the corners or trim.
