ITAC 5 near Belleville

ITAC 5 traffic this morning talking about things in/near Belleville, the mobile command post coming from Newark with a 20 minute ETA, etc.

Anybody hearing anything else to narrow down what they're up to?

7:41: Mentioned "RDT?" command and walking on the tracks, which reminded me they had previously mentioned transit units being involved.

it might be the new joint task force between the twelve agencies working together. earlier tonight, i heard a newark dispatcher say someting about a military checkpoint. i didn't catch the entire traffic and maybe even heard wrong. but according to the article on nj.com the national guard is to take part in this jtf effort to help bring crime under control.

my question is if the NG will be only utilizing their air assets or if they'll be having ground units as well.

if anyone in the essex co. area could confirm they're being on the field and any frequecies that they might be using.

"RDT" sounds like Rapid Deployment Team
