Related to scanning, but kinda not.
After nearly a decade, I've found myself back messing about with scanners. I was originally a member here "way back when" (think RadioShack Pro-96 debut days) and find myself returning from time to time to look at the database. The people here were so helpful to me back then, and still are now. Just makes me realize what an awesome community that scanner and communication hobbyists share here.
Noticed that Lou Maag and UPMan passed, I remember them well. Lou was a "by the book" guy and UPMan was always on the pulse of anything Uniden, obviously.
I think I lost the password/login to my prior account, or maybe it got disabled/deleted or something. Good to be back though, I promise I won't stay gone so long next time.
