this radio did not keep its original programming from whistler very long.I've been downloading updates by computer but they just don't fully update palmetto 800 system in the radio with a full id of the systems.any help please

Are you scanning from the database or did you create a configuration file? The most common problem is a bad SD card.

If your wanting the trx-2 to display full system id's you have to turn that feature on in advanced features tab using the computer software. it will be under Trunked System Channels line 3 line 4 and line 5.

What exactly is the problem? Are you having a problem updating the library in the scanner?
