It's all conventional VHF , no t/g's as there is no trunking.
Not 100% true. It's my understanding that Fire uses the Parks VHF frequencies, so they're conventional VHF, but there are a couple of trunked systems in the area.
AHS would use AFRRCS of course and is encrypted. I think the municipal peace officers (if any) may be using AFRRCS as well but I'm not 100% sure as I haven't visited the town since before AFRRCS came to be.
There is a site for the ATCO Gas NXDN96 system in town, in the 161-167 MHz range.
Jasper Park Lodge has 800 MHz frequencies in the 858-860 MHz range. I noticed that license showing up in the SMS about the same time as the 800 freqs in Banff, which ultimately was the LTR system at Banff Mineral Springs Hotel.
