Looks like they are already preparing for the rebanding.

A new frequency - 853.3125 - recently showed up in the multicast trunked system.

So now we have:

853.3125 - NEW - CWID = WPHM479
866.1625
866.4125
868.2375
868.6625

NOTE: In the RR database Site 001 also lists 858.2375 and 858.4625. Those frequencies are not actually part of the active trunked system. There are five active channels total - listed above. As far as I'm concerned, Site 001 should list the above five frequencies and nothing else.

858.2375 and 858.4625 may carry other data - Maybe they are used for the OSP, Belmont and Harrison County patches - Or maybe they are used for MDT data. Or maybe they were frequencies that were never added because they knew rebanding was going to occur. Who knows for sure, not me. But they aren't part of Site 001.

853.3125 is licensed to Nextel Holdings. That would be another hint that this frequency was recently added as part of the rebanding process. Hey, I'm just speculating, but I'm betting I'm not wrong.

Haven't heard any audio on 853.3125 yet - However, it CWids every half hour as WPHM479 (the main callsign associated with the trunked system).

I wonder when the rebanding will be done.

No idea. But I've been told that Wheeling/Belmont/Jefferson have all been dialoging about their rebanding and such, and so I wonder if we'll shortly start seeing signs of this on the Wheeling and Belmont County systems? I wouldn't know since I can't monitor them from here, so you guys down south will need to keep an eye out. But it wouldn't surprise me if you see similar signs down in Belmont/Wheeling in the near future.

I submitted this information to RR - don't know if the holdup is just manhours or if somebody is discounting my data as bogus/nonfactual - but what i posted in http://www.radioreference.com/forums/showpost.php?p=450697&postcount=1 is not bogus - It's factual. I may not have an FCC database entry to back it up, but my information about the 858.xxxx frequencies not being in the actual trunked system and 853.3125 being active in the trunked system are factual based upon what the actual system itself reports and also based upon what i hear with my own ears - I'm not imagining things - I monitor the system with multiple scanners, Unitrunker, ID Tracker and am not making it up.

I usually use ARC780 and search on Jeff Co. but I get so many false hits that I don't believe them. The program does not have a hit counter. Right now I'm running ARC246 and it has a hit counter. I got 4 hits on TGID 8208. Do you know what this is? Or have you seen this TGID?

Hey bud,

8208 is Buckeye Local Schools - based upon my observations and those of STA75. I believe that has already been submitted to RR (but not added yet).

Keep an eye on 8080 and 8304 - I logged a bit of activity on them in late Dec but nothing since.

There is a sixth frequency you forgot about. It is 867.6625mhz

If anything, 867.6625 is an Ohio MARCS frequency. I'm not aware of it being a Jefferson County 911 freq. It's not listed under WPHM479 or under the Jefferson County FRN (which I guess doesn't mean much). 867.6625 is definitely not active _in_ the trunked system, but I suppose it could somehow be related (I doubt it though).

Where did you get that frequency? Do actively monitor it?

I have it in my scanner and I found it while doing a search a while ago and it is a control channel for Jefferson County 911. I always hear somthing on it if not the CC then it is Jcom talking

I'll plug it in and monitor it - I do daily scanning of 800 mhz and I have never heard anything on it - and I'd get a full signal on 3-4 of the towers in the county if it was coming from them. I'm leaning towards some sort of image/intermod sort of thing. I know I can tune down a little ways in my 996 and hear the CC of JC911 but I know it's not actually being transmitted on the frequency I'm seeing it on - It's happening because I'm so close to one of the sites.

I'll let ya know what i find out. Keep in mind though that if it were actually a part of the trunked system, it would show up in unitrunker as one of the five.
