Does anyone know if the system for Charles Town Races & Slots listed here - http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=RR&sid=1209 is still operating? I added it recently and haven't heard anything.

Thanks

Brian

The last time I listened to it was a few months ago. At that time, the TG IDs were wrong. Not really a whole lot of interesting traffic though. I have it programmed it, but locked out jus in case something was to happen there.

OK, since it is still active I must have set the system up incorrectly as I haven't heard anything at all. This is the first LTR system for me. I set it up with ARC as an LT system with the freqs in the post and run the system in id search mode on my 396. Anything I'm missing?

The Charles Town Races and Slots LTR system is completely different from what's in the database. Most of the frequencies are the same, but they've changed the home repeater numbers. And the talkgroups are completely different.

I listened for a couple of hours on Saturday after going to Harper's Ferry...

I've submitted the updated info to the database...

I live about 5 mins. from the track/casino. Once I get my PSR-500/600 I'll throw in the frequencies and let it work the LCN's out and I'll put an update in for the system to the DB. It might be a few weeks/months. As Mike said don't worry, there's nothing interesting going on on that system, unless you like to listen to the sound of slot machines, EVERY time someone keys up a mic. ;-)

I havent' looked over the manual that well for the 500. Will it figure out the LCN automaticly? I have a older RS unit that would always tell me what LCN the control channel was on but nothing else as far of it finding out the order number should be.
