Jersey City Fire Dispatch

Just an observation - it seems that lately JCFD has been using CH 1 (460.55) as the main dispatch channel. They had primarily been using CH 2 (460.60) for dispatch in the past.

From a FDJC dispatcher 2 weeks ago, this should be a permanent gig while channel 2 undergoes some repairs.

I wonder what the problem is. I am still hearing operations on CH 2.

I was able to talk to one of the JCFD fire radio supervisors on Wednesday, They tell me that they are getting interference on there channel 2 and have moved all operations on channel 1 and they will be using channel 1 until further notice.

As of this past weekend it sounds like dispatch is back on Ch 2.

little of topic but what is the official abbreviation for jersey city fire is it FDJC or JCFD i've seen both on hemlets, and coats.
