Jersey City Public Schools Security

I've the freqs for the JC Public schools security force. In the ULS but not the database here yet - wanted to get people's reaction before I submit.

Callsign WPZT883 in the ULS. I've just started searching for the last couple/few hours - not too active at this hour, but I've heard enough to be reasonably convinced this is used for security traffic (Burglar alarms, etc.).

"Main" repeater output appears to be 462.1625, with a DPL of 223. The other repeater output appears to be 461.8375, haven't caught any traffic for catching the tone yet, though.

The following are the school freqs for the Jersey city Public School System

461.8375 DPL223 repeater Dickerson & Ferris HS
462.1625 DPL223 repeater Snyder HS
464.5750 DPL223 repeater Lincoln HS
464.6750 DPL223 repeater Various Schools
453.1500 DPL223 repeater Bus

There are various primary and middle schools on each of the freqs above with the high schools. Security normally id themselves with there school number.

Some of the high schools also use FRS radios for in school communications.

thanks man, good info. do you know which one happens to be cordero's freq? is it the various freq?

i was curious because the district appears to have a roaming security vehicle at night, didn't know which vehicle used what frequency.

Jersey City Public Schools

I forget which repeater they use at night for the alarms. They have numerous security vehicles around the city. The smaller schools are spread around the four freqs. I id the high schools as they seem to be the most problems especially lunch and dismissal.
