Joplin, MO Monitoring

We program scanners and have a customer in Joplin MO. We programmed the tower, control frquencies and talkgroups but he can not pickup anything on the Joplin tower. We called the telecommunications expert at Joplin Police, Uniden and even reprogrammed and sent the customer another Uniden 396 but he still cannot listen to the local Joplin Missouri police, fire, etc on that tower. Does anyone know of anything we may be missing. We have programmed numerous scanners and never had a problem. They told us also they do not use encryption. Thanks for any information anyone can provide.

I don't have a answer to your question, but am NEW to scanning, and am having trouble trying to program my 996 w/GPS. Would like to find out where your are in Joplin and bring it in. I live in Miami

I am currently using a BCD396T to monitor Joplin's digital system. if you send me a message I might be able to email my UASD file that you can import into the Uniden program and then try to send it to the scanner.

BTW, I'm in SW Missouri, so if necessary we might be able to arrange a face-face to check it out.

Let me get this straight. Your company charges up to $55.00 for scanner programming, $40.00 if they buy the scanner from you - and you expect people here to do your work?

The charges are right there on your web page....
