Any idea where the Juno Beach Police went?

They are no longer on VHF (158.790) and I cannot locate them on the Palm Beach County System.

I have not noticed any new antennas on the cars.

Thanks

They actually have a license for 39.580, thought I doubt that's where they went.

Try 866.1750 or 854.8375 base Mobile 809.8375

Thanks Al.

I neglected to add that I looked at the licensed frequencies as well.
No luck there either.

However, I did notice that the VHF antennas are gone from all vehicles.

They went to the new 800 freqs that they recently licensed and the Chief advised me that they were going digital encrypted. I turned on some of their ID's so they can access the County Commons, but they are not full time users on 813A.

Thanks Mark.
I would be glad to confirm if they are actually encrypted if I knew what the new frequencies are.

Encrypted communication for a PD that has 2 officers and 1 Sgt on per shift; a town that is surrounded by analog communications.

No more mutual aid around here.
Brilliant.
Typical Florida mentality.

If they are following the state's recommendations, they should also have the FL and Natl mutual aid conventional freqs programmed in their radios.

I just saw one of Juno's finest in the Sunoco Station on RT 1.
His radio was an EF Johnson (I think, I was trying not to stare) and certainly did not sound digital when a transmission was heard.

Any idea how to figure out what frequencies they are using?
It is not the listed 854 frequency.

Thanks

Thanks KS4VT.
You are correct.

866.175
Not digital. Not encrypted.
PL 103.5.

I submitted the changes to the DB.

Thanks
Dic

Are you saying they are no longer running encryption full time? They were.

No encryption at all.
Analog, in the clear.

When I started this thread I sort of gave up on them, so I never heard any transmissions on 866.175.

When was the last time you heard them encrypted and on what frequency?

Thanks
Dic

P.S. And as I said in a thread about the FHP, maybe they were encrypted so no one would know how boring they are.

Something must have happened. Their big reason for not going on the Palm Beach Co. System was not being able to be digital full time and encrypted.

I have to go North tomorrow (8-28) and will try to listen. Of course they might not even transmit while I am in receive range.

FHP, not anything interesting at all other than the aircraft. How many sig 4, sig 76 can you listen to?
