Hello All!
I have always said that for the time,the pro-2006 was the best scanner there ever was. Well,with digital trunking and all that jazz,the 2006 has taken a back seat in the scanners of yester-year. Well let me tell ya. Dont discount this baby for dead just yet. I was home today not feeling well. I decided to do a little scanning around the millair range.
As most of you know,this takes a lot of patience. Well I had almost given up when I heard some activity on 233.525 Mhz. Sounded like two planes talking. They switched freq. to 260.900 to contact Huntress. I then used the Pro-2006 to hear Huntress and whatever else should pop up and programmed the original freq. on another scanner(BC-785) The audio on the 2006 was SOO much clearer than the 785 that I just couldnt believe it. I even reversed the freqs. and still the pro-2006 was clearer. Same antenna system,same external speakers. I was able to hear Huntress,the two planes(Raptor 65,66) and a refueling tanker (Tanker 01) clear as day. I knew I kept that radio around for something......
